A few months back, I had the pleasure of catching up with an old friend from my Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) days at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

It had been a while since we last spoke; despite a close friendship in college, we each pursued different career paths following graduation. I chose to go to law school in the hopes of serving as a judge advocate, and he decided to serve as an ordnance officer.
